During the third quarter of 2024, the Android platform in Sweden saw intriguing developments among the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps demonstrated varied trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
Splitwise showed a significant fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at around $231 in late August. The app's downloads were highest in mid-July, hitting approximately 946, followed by a gradual decline. Active users initially increased, reaching over 7.4K by late July, but experienced some fluctuation towards the end of the quarter.
Steven – Be even with friends experienced a notable revenue spike in mid-August, reaching about $349, before settling at around $133 by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked in mid-July at over 1K but decreased thereafter.
Anyfin maintained a steady download trend, with numbers increasing from 312 in early July to a peak of 464 in late August. However, there were no reported revenues or active user data for this app during the quarter.
Money manager & expenses reported modest revenue, peaking at $62 in mid-August. Downloads saw a general upward trend, with a high of 289 in mid-August, while active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 2K and 2.3K.
SEB Youth had a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 262 in early August. Like Anyfin, SEB Youth did not report any revenue or active user data for the quarter.
