During the third quarter of 2024, the Shoot'em Up games category on Android in Malta showcased varying performance trends across the leading apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared in terms of weekly downloads and revenue.
Space shooter - Galaxy attack from 1SOFT witnessed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 241 in the week of August 19. The game's revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately $53 in early July and maintaining moderate levels throughout the quarter.
1945 Air Force: Airplane games, also by 1SOFT, saw a significant surge in downloads during August, with a peak count of 182 in the week of August 12. Revenue for this app was more stable, with a peak of $28 at the end of July, followed by a gradual decline.
Ball Blast Cannon blitz mania from VOODOO experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 165 in late August. Despite the growth in downloads, revenue remained consistently low, mostly around the $1 mark, with a slight increase to $2 at the end of September.
Zombie Defense: War Z Survival by Homa saw a notable spike in downloads mid-August, peaking at 170. However, the game did not generate any revenue during the quarter.
Lastly, Fire Hero 2D — Space Shooter from CASUAL AZUR GAMES showed a similar download pattern, with a peak of 172 in the week of August 19, but also did not generate any revenue throughout the quarter.
