In the third quarter of 2024, the top 5 Shoot'em Up games on the Android platform in the United States showed varied performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a snapshot of how these games performed in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Galaxiga Arcade Shooting Game, published by 1SOFT, saw its weekly revenue peaking at approximately $57K in early July, followed by a decline to about $36K by mid-September. Downloads started strong at around 40K in mid-July but decreased to about 28K by the end of September. The game maintained a solid base of active users, starting at nearly 150K and ending the quarter with around 135K.
1945 Air Force: Airplane games, also from 1SOFT, had a varied revenue stream, peaking at $33K in early July and maintaining around $24K by the end of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, with an initial peak of over 30K in early July, stabilizing at approximately 19K by September's end. Active users reached a high of 117K in early July, with a gradual decrease to about 92K by the quarter's close.
Space shooter - Galaxy attack experienced a revenue peak of $43K at the start of July, tapering off to around $28K by the end of September. The game's downloads hit a high of 26K mid-July but declined to 14K by late September. Active users started at 126K, with a noticeable decrease to about 98K by the quarter's end.
Little Hero: Survival.io by MiniCalm Games had modest revenue, maintaining an average of $130 per week. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 20K and ending at 17K. The active user base grew from 92K to 108K over the quarter, indicating a positive engagement trend.
Lastly, Monster Survivors from VOODOO reported revenue peaking at $25K in early July, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, and ending at the same level. Weekly downloads increased from 20K to 21K by September. The active users showed a significant dip mid-quarter but recovered to 25K by the end.
