In the third quarter of 2024, Bahrain's Android users showed varied engagement with the top five shopping apps, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps performed in terms of weekly downloads and user engagement.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire maintained a consistent presence in the Bahrain market throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained robust, peaking at approximately 10.6K downloads by the end of August. The app's download trend saw a minor dip in mid-September before recovering to around 10.1K by the end of the quarter.
Lulu Shopping experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads over the quarter. Starting at about 2.6K downloads in early July, the app's numbers dropped, reaching a low of 910 downloads mid-September, before a slight recovery to 1K by the end of September.
SHEIN-Shopping Online showed an initial increase in weekly downloads, hitting a high of 1.6K in late July. However, the numbers tapered off gradually, ending the quarter with approximately 1.1K downloads.
For Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace, the download trend was relatively stable, fluctuating between 900 and 1.4K downloads. The app saw its peak in early September with around 1.4K downloads, before settling at about 922 downloads by the end of the quarter.
RAMEZ ONLINE experienced a significant spike in late July, reaching approximately 2.9K downloads, which was the highest for the app during the quarter. Following this peak, the app's downloads varied, concluding the quarter with around 870 downloads.
