In the third quarter of 2024, the top five social apps on the Android platform in Turkey demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
TikTok exhibited a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $129K by the end of September. The app's downloads saw fluctuations, starting with around 148K in early July, dipping to about 132K in late September, while active users decreased slightly from 30.2M to 29M during the quarter.
LivU - Live Video Chat showed a steady climb in revenue, reaching close to $77K by the quarter's end. Downloads experienced a slight decline from around 8.2K to 8.3K, while active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 80K and 85K.
Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat saw an upward trend in revenue, starting at $57K and rising to approximately $79K. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a peak of 52.6K in early August, and active users increased slightly from 466K to 494K.
SUGO:Voice Live Chat Party experienced growth in revenue, starting at $51K and reaching $76K by the end of September. While downloads showed some variation, ranging from 28K to 42K, active users saw an increase from 221K to 244K over the quarter.
Chamet - Live Video Chat maintained steady revenue growth, peaking at about $53K. Downloads saw a notable rise from 8.4K to 14.3K, and active users showed a slight increase from 110K to 112K.
