Weekly downloads experienced a peak of approximately 6.7K in mid-August, before gradually declining to about 2.2K by the end of September. The app maintained a robust weekly active user base, reaching a high of 16.3K in August, with a slight decrease to around 13.3K by the quarter's end.
Wordscapes from PeopleFun demonstrated a steady revenue trend, beginning the quarter at roughly $1.8K and closing at $1.5K. Downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 2.3K and ending slightly higher at 1.9K. The app consistently engaged a large number of active users, ranging from 34.7K to 35.9K throughout the quarter.
Crossword Master - Word Puzzle by Easybrain, although a newer entrant, recorded modest revenue growth, starting from negligible amounts to reaching $4 by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a late surge with a peak of over 2K in the final week of September. Active users also increased steadily, ending the quarter at approximately 3.8K.
Words of Wonders: Crossword, developed by Fugo Games, saw a notable revenue increase in the final week of September, reaching $139 from an earlier low of $9 in mid-July. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 1K and closing at 1.2K, while active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 7.6K to 8.8K.
Finally, NYT Games: Word, Number, Logic from The New York Times Company showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $929 in mid-July and ending the quarter at $624. Downloads started at 1.1K, tapering off to 756 by the quarter's end. The app maintained a steady active user base, ranging from 12.1K to 12.8K.
