Audience Trends: Office.com and outlook.office.com saw a surge in visits, with office.com reaching over 142M monthly visits by September. True audience figures were stable, with office.com exceeding 6M monthly.
App Engagement: Microsoft Outlook app maintained high engagement, with monthly active users above 5.8M. Microsoft Teams showed a slight increase to over 1.6M monthly users by September.
Ad Spend & Channels: Microsoft’s monthly ad expenditures peaked in July with over $2.9K, primarily through YouTube, driving substantial impressions.
Gmail, with its website mail.google.com and the Gmail - Email by Google app, continued to lead in user engagement.
Audience Trends: Mail.google.com experienced a steady increase in monthly visits, surpassing 2.4B by September. The true monthly audience remained above 48M, indicating consistent user reliance.
App Engagement: The Gmail app maintained strong user activity, with monthly active users consistently around 22M.
Ad Spend & Channels: Gmail did not record monthly ad spend in this period, focusing instead on organic growth.
