During the third quarter of 2024, the top anime games on iOS in the United States demonstrated diverse performance trends. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the key metrics for these popular apps.
Solo Leveling:Arise from Netmarble Corporation saw a fluctuating revenue stream, peaking at $481K in early July and tapering to $113K by the end of September. Downloads mirrored this downward trend, starting at 40.4K and closing the quarter at 10.7K. Despite this, weekly active users steadily increased, reaching approximately 650K towards the end of the quarter.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. experienced a significant surge in revenue during the second week of July, soaring to $2.5M, before settling around $1.3M by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 21K to 31K. The app's active user base saw a brief dip mid-quarter but rebounded to over 400K by September's close.
ONE PIECE Bounty Rush also from Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., recorded a remarkable revenue spike in late August at $420K, ending the quarter at $181K. Downloads fluctuated between 6.8K and 12.5K, while active users peaked at 68K in mid-August, with a slight decline thereafter.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE showed impressive revenue figures, peaking at over $3.3M in late July. Downloads, however, trended downward, starting at 10.8K and dipping to 6.5K by September. Active users saw a consistent range, maintaining around 150K to 180K throughout the quarter.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel by KONAMI maintained a steady revenue stream, averaging around $80K to $147K weekly. Downloads hovered between 7K and 8K, while active users consistently increased, reaching over 53K by mid-September.
