In the third quarter of 2024, the top city building games on iOS in Germany exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
States Builder: Trade Empire showed a fluctuating revenue pattern, peaking at approximately $2K in the last week of September. Downloads experienced a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 3.8K, while weekly active users increased steadily, starting from 40.2K and climbing to 52.5K.
SimCity BuildIt from Electronic Arts maintained a strong revenue performance, with earnings ranging from $17K to $27.5K throughout the quarter. Downloads saw some fluctuations, peaking at 4.3K in late September, and weekly active users generally increased, reaching a high of 26K mid-September.
Land Builder experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $0.5K by the end of September. Downloads were highest at 2.9K in mid-September, while weekly active users saw a rise from 5.6K to 8.3K during the quarter.
Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle exhibited strong revenue, particularly in August and September, with a peak of $33.2K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, while weekly active users rose from 11.6K to 13.2K.
The Simpsons™: Tapped Out had a varied revenue trend, with a significant drop in the final week of September. Downloads peaked at 3.9K in late September, and weekly active users reached a high of 29K before settling at 27K at the quarter's close.
