DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a strong presence in the market with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 312K in late July. The app saw a gradual increase in active users, starting at 13M at the beginning of the quarter and reaching nearly 13.6M by the end of September.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery also showed robust activity, with weekly downloads fluctuating, hitting a high of around 191K in early July. Active users remained relatively stable, with numbers oscillating around the 9.3M mark throughout the quarter.
The DoorDash - Dasher app, catering to delivery drivers, experienced a moderate download rate, with figures reaching up to 139K in early July. Active users displayed a slight decrease, dropping from approximately 1.4M to 1.3M over the quarter.
Instacart: Groceries & Food saw a consistent download trend with a notable peak of about 121K in early September. The app's active users maintained a steady presence, hovering around 1.2M throughout the period.
Lastly, Too Good To Go: End Food Waste focused on sustainability, reached a significant download spike of 136K in mid-July. The app’s active users increased from 220K to nearly 280K by the end of the quarter, reflecting growing engagement.
