In the third quarter of 2024, some of the most popular MOBA games on iOS in Latin America displayed intriguing trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user engagement. These insights from Sensor Tower provide a glimpse into the region's gaming dynamics.
Brawl Stars by Supercell experienced a notable fluctuation in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $919K in early September. The app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with figures hovering around 121K in the same period. Active users showed a slight increase from 1.5M in early July to 1.52M by the end of September.
League of Legends: Wild Rift by Riot Games saw a peak in weekly revenue of $143K in early August. Its download numbers remained steady, averaging about 9K to 10K each week. Active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a range between 132K to 150K throughout the quarter.
Squad Busters, another offering from Supercell, witnessed a decline in weekly downloads from 46K in early July to around 13K by the end of September. Revenue peaked at $99K in the first week of July and showed varied trends thereafter. Despite the decline in downloads, active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter at approximately 249K.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd., maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 10K weekly downloads. The app's revenue saw a peak of $70K in late July. Active users remained consistently around 100K throughout the quarter.
Finally, Honor of Kings by Level Infinite displayed a downward trend in both downloads and active users, with the latter decreasing from 34K in early July to about 20K by the end of September. Revenue reached its highest at $18K in mid-August.
