According to data from Sensor Tower, these insights provide a comprehensive look at the landscape of digital news consumption in the region.
X from X Corp. demonstrated a fluctuating revenue stream throughout the quarter, peaking at around $24K in early August before declining to approximately $9.1K by the end of September. Downloads saw significant variation, with a notable spike reaching 82K in the last week of August, while active users initially rose to about 2.5M in August but decreased to just under 1M by the quarter's end.
Valor Econômico - Exclusivo maintained a relatively steady revenue flow, with weekly earnings hovering between $5.5K and $9.1K. Downloads remained consistent, ranging from 324 to 499 weekly, indicating a stable user acquisition rate.
The Economist - News, Podcasts experienced a gradual increase in revenue, closing September at around $4.3K. Downloads, however, trended downward, dropping from 946 at the quarter's start to 249 by the end. Active users showed slight fluctuations, stabilizing around 2.3K.
Folha de S.Paulo saw a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 4.6K in the final week of September. Revenue also showed an upward trend, reaching approximately $4.1K in early September. Active users remained fairly consistent, with minor fluctuations around 44K.
Lastly, O Globo displayed a steady revenue pattern, concluding the quarter at $3.3K. Downloads showed a significant boost in the last week of September, reaching 1.2K, while active users hovered consistently around 12K.
