In Q3 2024, the top photo and video applications on iOS in Peru demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
CapCut - Video Editor, published by Bytedance Pte. Ltd, showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $12K in early July and climbing to approximately $24K by the end of September. Downloads spiked mid-quarter, reaching a peak of about 26K in the week of September 9. Active users remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, fluctuating between 59K and 64K.
Instagram, from Instagram, Inc., experienced a modest decline in weekly revenue, starting at $7K and ending the quarter at around $6.4K. Downloads peaked in early September at over 22K, while weekly active users remained robust, consistently hovering around 780K to 790K.
YouTube: Watch, Listen, Stream by Google saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, escalating from $56K to approximately $77.6K by the end of the quarter. Downloads peaked in mid-July at about 18.7K, and active users consistently exceeded 1.8M, peaking at over 1.89M in late September.
Google Photos: Backup & Edit also from Google, maintained a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings ranging from $9.3K to $13.2K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around 5K to 6K weekly. Active users hovered around 86K to 90K, showing slight growth towards the quarter's end.
Canva: AI Photo & Video Editor, published by Canva, demonstrated an upward trend in revenue, from $7.6K in early July to $9.5K by the end of September. Downloads increased from 4K in early July to around 6.6K in early September. Active users grew steadily, starting from 49K and reaching 70K by late September.
