In Q3 2024, the iOS plane games category in Ireland saw varied performance across the top five apps, according to data from Sensor Tower.
Infinite Flight Simulator from Infinite Flight LLC showed steady weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $525 in mid-August. However, weekly downloads experienced a slight decline, starting from 127 in early July and decreasing to around 71 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also saw a gradual decrease, dropping from 219 to 164 over the quarter.
RFS - Real Flight Simulator by RORTOS SRL maintained a consistent revenue stream, with figures fluctuating between $135 and $235. Despite this, the app had negligible downloads throughout the quarter, with only a single download recorded in late July.
Airline Manager - 2025 by Xombat ApS experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $387 in early July before stabilizing around $118 by the end of September. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, peaking at 113 in late July. The app saw a rise in weekly active users, growing from 384 to 504 over the course of the quarter.
Airlines Manager: Plane Tycoon from Playrion showed consistent weekly revenue, with a peak of $165 in late September. However, downloads were on a downward trend, starting at 87 in early July and dropping to 13 by the end of September. Weekly active users decreased from 196 to 117 throughout the quarter.
X-Plane Flight Simulator by Laminar Research had a revenue spike of $229 in mid-August, with figures generally ranging between $92 and $139. Weekly downloads were fairly stable, with slight fluctuations, and weekly active users saw a decline from 67 to 40 by the end of September.
