In the third quarter of 2024, the top racing games on iOS in South Africa showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
CSR 3 - Street Car Racing, developed by Zynga Inc., experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $535 in late July before declining to around $97 by the end of September. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decrease, starting at about 3.8K in early July and ending at around 1.7K in late September.
Race Master 3D - Car Racing from SayGames LTD showed a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from 3.2K in early July and dropping to 694 by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained relatively stable, with slight fluctuations, ultimately reaching $168 in the last week of September. Active users decreased from 10.7K in early July to 6.3K by the end of the quarter.
Bridge Race, published by SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD, witnessed a decline in downloads from 2.4K in early July to 1.2K at the end of September. Revenue varied slightly, with a notable increase to $80 in the final week. Active users initially decreased but showed a recovery towards the end of the quarter, reaching 6.8K.
Need for Speed No Limits by Electronic Arts saw a significant increase in weekly downloads mid-quarter, peaking at 1.8K in late August. Revenue showed a similar pattern, with a high of $428 during the same period. Active users surged in August, reaching over 5.4K, before stabilizing around 3.7K in late September.
Real Racing 3, also from Electronic Arts, maintained stable weekly downloads, fluctuating around 800 to 1K throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked at $1.1K in early July but generally hovered around $300 to $400 for the rest of the period. Active users remained steady, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 3.5K.
