In the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping applications on the iOS platform in Saudi Arabia experienced varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive overview of these trends.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire showed a fluctuating download pattern, starting with a peak of approximately 138K in early July, before experiencing a dip and then a rise to around 124K in early September. Weekly active users for Temu remained relatively stable, with numbers hovering between 1.2M and 1.5M throughout the quarter.
Trendyol: Fashion & Trends maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at about 68K in late July. Active users saw a steady increase, reaching approximately 381K by the end of September, indicating a gradual rise in engagement over the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a decrease in weekly downloads from around 50K in late July to about 29K by the end of September. Despite this decline, the app maintained a large active user base, with numbers initially over 2.5M, dropping to around 1.8M by the quarter's end.
noon Shopping, Food, Grocery saw relatively stable download numbers, averaging around 34K per week. Active users showed an upward trend, increasing from approximately 868K to nearly 960K by the end of September. The app also generated minimal weekly revenue, with figures consistently around $1 to $2.
Amazon Shopping had a download peak in mid-July at about 37K, followed by a gradual decline. Active users peaked at around 640K in mid-July, then fluctuated, ending the quarter at approximately 526K.
