During the third quarter of 2024, the top travel apps on the iOS platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed view of these apps' weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics.
My Disney Experience from Disney saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $138K in early August. Weekly downloads showed a decline from approximately 46K at the beginning of July to 40K by the end of September. Active users also experienced a gradual decrease, starting at around 212K and ending the quarter at 191K.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced a steady decline in weekly revenue, starting at $72K and ending at approximately $53K. Downloads fluctuated, with a noticeable drop mid-quarter, but saw a resurgence to about 48K by the end of September. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking in early August at 243K before declining to 194K by quarter's end.
Flighty – Live Flight Tracker displayed a dynamic revenue pattern, reaching a high of about $71K in early August. Downloads saw an increase in September, peaking at 22K in the week of September 9. The app's active users rose, peaking at nearly 28K in early September before settling at 24K by the end of the quarter.
GuideAlong | GPS Audio Tours maintained a consistent weekly revenue, with slight fluctuations around the $30K mark. Downloads decreased from 5.5K at the beginning of the quarter to 2.8K by the end. Active users remained stable, slightly decreasing from 44K to 44K over the three months.
The Dyrt: Tent & RV Camping had a varied revenue performance, starting at $33K and dropping to $16K by the end of September. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 14K and closing the quarter at 5.9K. Active users also declined, beginning at 18K and ending at 10.9K.
