In the third quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps in the Netherlands showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $13.8K in early August. Downloads showed a significant upward trend mid-quarter, reaching 17.3K in the first week of August, while weekly active users rose from 85.9K at the start of July to a high of 122.8K in the same period, before tapering off to around 88.7K by the end of September.
Schiphol Amsterdam Airport experienced its highest downloads in mid-July with 21.7K, followed by a gradual decline to 6.4K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 25.7K in mid-July and decreasing to 10.2K by the end of the quarter.
KLM - Book a flight maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with a peak of 13.6K in mid-July. Active users showed a consistent pattern, starting at 39.6K in early July and fluctuating slightly, ending at 40.7K by late September.
Transavia showed a peak in downloads in mid-July at 13.4K, with a gradual decline to 7.0K by the end of September. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 31.1K mid-July before decreasing to 23.7K by the end of the quarter.
Ryanair experienced a peak in downloads in late July at 10.6K, with a decrease to 6.2K by the end of September. Active users started at 37.9K in early July and showed a stable pattern, ending at 38.1K in late September.
