In the third quarter of 2024, the top cat games in Australia demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. According to Sensor Tower data, these games captured the attention of cat lovers nationwide.
Office Cat: Idle Tycoon Games by treeplla Inc. showed a strong revenue performance, starting at $5.9K in early July and peaking at approximately $11.3K mid-July. Downloads began at 5.6K, experienced a rise to 7K in the second week of July, and then settled around 4.5K by the end of September. The game maintained a robust weekly active user base, growing from 7.6K to 13.7K over the quarter.
My Talking Tom 2, published by Outfit7 Limited, experienced a moderate revenue increase, reaching a high of $452 by late July. Downloads started at 4.2K, fluctuated throughout the quarter, and ended slightly lower at 3.4K. The weekly active users remained strong, with figures hovering around 130K to 142K.
Outfit7 Limited’s My Talking Angela 2 experienced a steady revenue stream, with a notable increase to $685 at the end of September. Downloads saw a significant spike to 7.3K towards the end of August, before stabilizing around 3.3K. The weekly active users count increased from 31.6K to 30.5K by the end of the quarter.
Duet Cats: Cute Cat Games by Amanotes Pte. Ltd. maintained a consistent revenue flow, averaging around $100 weekly. Downloads showed an initial decline but rebounded to over 3K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained stable, starting at 66.7K and ending at 68.6K.
Finally, My Talking Tom Friends, also by Outfit7 Limited, saw a revenue peak of $889 in late August, with downloads showing a downward trend from 4.1K to 2.6K. The weekly active users fluctuated but ended the quarter on a high note at 49.6K.
