During the third quarter of 2024, the top 5 communication apps in Slovakia on a unified platform displayed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
WhatsApp Messenger saw a stable weekly revenue, peaking at around $63 in early September. The app's downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 10.4K in early September, while active users consistently hovered around 1.3M, peaking at nearly 1.37M at the end of the quarter.
Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. experienced a decline in weekly revenue from $204 in late July to $178 by the end of September. Downloads peaked mid-August at about 9.9K, but decreased to 6.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users remained steady at around 980K, with a slight dip to 969K in late September.
Snapchat generated notable weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $5.7K in late September. The app's downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at 5.6K in mid-August, while active users consistently stayed around 450K, showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Radosť, with no revenue data available, showed growth in downloads, peaking at about 4.3K in early September. Active users maintained a steady presence, fluctuating around 120K, with a brief peak to 124K in late August.
Telegram exhibited a robust weekly revenue trend, reaching a high of approximately $5K in late September. Downloads saw a peak of 5.3K in late August, while active users varied slightly, ending the quarter with around 154K.
