In the third quarter of 2024, the top five dating apps in the Middle East exhibited varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, according to Sensor Tower data.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date from Tinder LLC showed a robust revenue trend, peaking at approximately $538K in the final week of September. Downloads saw a significant spike in late July, reaching over 51K, while active users fluctuated, ending the quarter with around 338K.
Azar: Video Chat & Meet People by Hyperconnect LLC maintained a steady revenue stream, with weekly earnings hovering around $256K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads gradually decreased, settling at about 16.5K by the end of September, while active users remained relatively stable at approximately 166K.
Chamet - Live Video Chat from Chamet Team experienced a decline in revenue, reaching around $196K in the last week of September. However, downloads increased steadily, peaking at over 15K, while active users slightly decreased, ending at nearly 103K.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date by Bumble Holding Limited saw revenue fluctuations, with a peak of $229K in early September. Downloads also varied, hitting a high of approximately 14.2K at the start of August, while active users remained consistently above 215K throughout the quarter.
Poppo Live- Live Stream from poppo team demonstrated a steady revenue trend, closing the quarter at roughly $170K. Downloads remained stable, averaging around 15K, while active users increased slightly, reaching about 71K by the end of September.
