In the third quarter of 2024, the education app market in Kuwait demonstrated varied performance trends across top applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app fared in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and user engagement.
Toca Boca World showed a fluctuating weekly revenue pattern, starting at approximately $3.5K and peaking at $7.7K in early July. However, the quarter ended with a decline to around $1.8K. Weekly downloads followed a similar downward trend, beginning at 2.5K and dropping to under 1K by the end of September. The app maintained a relatively steady active user base, though it gradually decreased from 16.5K to about 13.6K.
UULA - علا experienced significant growth in both revenue and downloads towards the end of the quarter. Weekly revenue surged from $2K to over $15K by September's close, while downloads increased from 240 to over 3.3K weekly. This suggests a successful quarter in terms of financial performance and user acquisition.
Lingokids - Play and Learn maintained a stable revenue stream, hovering around $3K, with a notable increase to $4.6K in late September. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 800 to 1K weekly, while active users saw a slight rise from 2.6K to 2.8K, indicating steady user engagement.
Duolingo - Language Lessons had a consistent revenue pattern, generally ranging between $2.7K and $3.5K per week. The app experienced fluctuations in downloads, with a peak of over 4.1K in late August, while active users varied slightly, maintaining figures between 17.7K and 21.4K throughout the quarter.
Clever: Brain Logic Training demonstrated a steady revenue stream, mostly around $1.4K to $1.8K weekly. Downloads showed a declining trend from 1.2K to just over 200 by the end of the quarter. Active user numbers also decreased from 2.8K to about 2K, reflecting reduced engagement.
