During the third quarter of 2024, the education app landscape in Norway showcased a diverse range of performance trends across the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Duolingo - Language Lessons maintained a steady weekly revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $70.8K in the first week of August. Weekly downloads demonstrated a slight increase by mid-August, reaching about 6.2K, while weekly active users saw a consistent rise, culminating at around 187K by the end of August.
Albert Junior experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a peak of $12.4K in early August. The app's downloads showed a declining trend, beginning the quarter at over 2.1K and dropping to below 1K by late September.
Toca Boca World saw its highest weekly revenue of $21.3K in the second week of July, followed by a gradual decline. Downloads remained relatively stable early in the quarter but decreased to around 1.2K by September. Despite this, weekly active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around 15K to 18K.
Learn 33 Languages with Mondly exhibited stable revenue figures, with weekly earnings ranging between $6.4K and $7.6K. Downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at 1.2K in late September. Active users showed a slight decline from 5.2K to 4.7K over the quarter.
Simply Piano: Learn Piano Fast demonstrated a positive trend in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $7.9K in early September. Downloads increased gradually, peaking at 651 by the end of September. Active users showed a slight increase, ending the quarter at about 2.5K.
