State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, the top education applications on a unified platform in Latin America showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these apps.
Duolingo - Language Lessons saw a notable upward trend in weekly revenue, starting from around $320K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately $428K by the end of September. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a significant spike reaching 1.4M in late August, and a decrease to about 785K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong active user base, increasing from 9.9M in early July to over 11.5M by the end of September.
Luzia: Your AI Assistant experienced a rise in weekly downloads, peaking at over 616K in early August before gradually declining to approximately 246K by the end of September. Active users consistently grew from 4.6M at the start of July to about 6.2M by the end of the quarter.
Gauth: AI Study Companion showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching nearly $6.8K by the end of September. Downloads surged dramatically, especially in the last week of September, hitting over 2.3M. Active users mirrored this growth, skyrocketing from around 242K in early July to over 2.4M by the end of September.
Brainly: AI Homework Helper demonstrated a gradual increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $60.6K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a modest rise, with a peak in late August at nearly 295K, followed by a decrease to about 219K by the end of September. Active users grew steadily, reaching over 3.8M in early September before slightly declining to approximately 3.3M by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Google Classroom had no revenue data but exhibited an impressive increase in downloads, peaking at 467K in late August. Active users surged significantly from around 9.9M at the start of July to nearly 14.7M by the end of September.
