The third quarter of 2024 has brought notable shifts in the performance of the leading education apps in the Netherlands. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we delve into the trends observed for Somtoday Leerling & Ouder, Duolingo - Language Lessons, Magister - Leerling en Ouder, Parro, and Eduarte Student.
Somtoday Leerling & Ouder from Topicus Onderwijs B.V. saw a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at around 121K in late August. The app's weekly active users also climbed, reaching a high of 38.7K by early September.
Duolingo - Language Lessons maintained a strong position with weekly revenue consistently exceeding $138K, peaking at nearly $193K in mid-August. Weekly downloads were steady, averaging around 30K, while active users remained robust, reaching over 673K by late September.
Magister - Leerling en Ouder experienced significant growth in active users, which rose from 601K in July to a peak of approximately 4.7M in September. Downloads also increased, with a high of around 72.9K by late August.
Parro exhibited a gradual increase in downloads, reaching about 15.5K in mid-August. Active users showed a positive trend, peaking at nearly 40.3K by the end of September.
Finally, Eduarte Student saw a steady rise in both downloads and active users. Downloads hit a peak of approximately 18.8K in early September, while active users increased to around 48K during the same period.
