In the third quarter of 2024, the Food and Drink app market in Brazil saw varied performances among the top five apps, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
BLW Brasil - Alimentação Bebês from BLW SOCIAL PTE. LTD. showed a positive trend in weekly revenue, starting at $8K in early July and peaking at $11.6K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable spike to 15K in late July before stabilizing around 7K towards the quarter's end. Weekly active users increased from 54K at the start of the quarter to 85K in September.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced a decline in weekly revenue, starting at $5K and dropping to around $4K by the end of September. Downloads also decreased, peaking at 9.3K in mid-July and falling to 5.2K by late September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 54K to 52K throughout the quarter.
Oeni - Wine cellar management saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, rising from $1.4K to $2.2K by the end of the quarter. Downloads initially declined from 2.5K in early July to under 1K in August but rebounded to 2.3K by the end of September.
ChefsClub maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, averaging around $1K with minor fluctuations. Downloads were modest, starting at 284 and slightly increasing to 290 by the end of September. Active users remained consistent, with minor variations around 300.
Wine-Searcher witnessed an increase in weekly revenue from $841 to $1.1K by the end of the quarter. Downloads, however, showed a downward trend, starting at 521 and dropping to 200. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 453 to 332 over the quarter.
