In the third quarter of 2024, the food delivery sector in Argentina showcased varied trends across the top five apps, as reported by Sensor Tower. This analysis highlights the performance of each application in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.
PedidosYa - Delivery App observed a consistent download pattern, beginning with 43.3K downloads in early July and peaking at 52.2K in the second week. By the end of September, the app maintained a download rate of approximately 40.9K. Weekly active users started at 1.8M, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, closing at about 1.65M.
Rappi: Market and Food Online experienced a stable revenue stream, maintaining around $2 weekly, with a slight increase to $3 at the quarter's end. Downloads were relatively stable, starting at 12.6K and fluctuating around 11.3K to 14.7K. Weekly active users showed a decrease from 252K to 226K over the quarter.
Joyaa reported download numbers beginning at 3.4K, with a peak of 6.3K mid-July. By the end of September, downloads stabilized around 5K. However, there was no revenue or active user data available for this period.
TaDá Delivery de Bebidas experienced a notable spike in downloads in early September, reaching 13.7K. Despite a mid-quarter dip, the app closed with a modest 767 downloads. Active users started at 57.2K, showing a downward trend to 22.4K by the end of the quarter.
Justmart + Almacor saw a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 678 and closing the quarter at 3.5K. No revenue or active user data was provided for this app during the period.
