In the third quarter of 2024, Brazil's food delivery app market displayed notable trends based on data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.
iFood comida e mercado em casa maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads ranging from around 251K to 317K. The app's weekly active users also showed resilience, starting at approximately 11.7M and climbing to over 12.1M by the end of the quarter.
For Zé Delivery de Bebidas, weekly downloads consistently hovered between 96K and 111K. Active users started at 516K, with fluctuations throughout the quarter, reaching a peak of 526K before settling at about 502K.
iFood para Entregadores saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 45K and peaking at 104K. Active users mirrored this upward trend, starting from approximately 225K and reaching 316K by the quarter's end.
aiqfome: delivery de tudo experienced a varied download pattern, ranging from 19K to 56K per week. Active users showed a similar trend, maintaining a steady range between 280K and 323K.
Lastly, Nuvem had weekly downloads ranging from 14K to 34K. Active users increased from about 65K to over 91K, indicating growing engagement.
