State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the third quarter of 2024, the Dominican Republic's top food delivery services demonstrated diverse trends in user engagement and downloads, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the performance of the top five apps in the region.
PedidosYa - Delivery App saw a steady decline in weekly downloads from 14.6K in early July to about 11.2K by the end of September. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting from 245.7K in the beginning of the quarter and hovering around 232.4K towards the end.
TaDa Delivery de Bebidas experienced an upward trend in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads increased from 3.6K in early July to nearly 7.9K by the end of September. Similarly, active users grew from 8.2K to approximately 14.2K during the same period.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed a gradual decrease in weekly downloads, starting at 4K and settling at around 2.5K by the quarter's end. The app's active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 62K in early July to roughly 53.2K by September's close.
DiDi Food - Food Delivery maintained a relatively small but stable number of downloads, with figures fluctuating between 500 and 400 each week. The app's active users slightly declined from 37K to 31.9K over the quarter.
Lastly, Komida ! saw minimal weekly downloads, with numbers ranging from 470 to 420. Unfortunately, data for active users was not available.
