In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of food delivery service apps in Slovakia showed varied trends across different platforms. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps saw fluctuations in downloads and active user engagement, reflecting the dynamic nature of the market.
Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a consistent presence in Slovakia. Weekly downloads started around 3.9K in early July, with a notable peak at 4.7K in early September, culminating at approximately 4.5K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users initially saw a decline from 51.4K to 42.1K in mid-August but rebounded to reach 55.6K by the end of the quarter.
Bolt Food maintained a steady download rate, beginning at 4.2K in early July and peaking at 4.5K at the end of September. Active user numbers fluctuated slightly, starting at 30.8K and ending the quarter with 30.4K, after a mid-quarter dip to 27K.
Munch - Slovensko saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, beginning modestly at 153 and surging to 8.7K by the end of September. This growth indicates a strong upward trend in user interest and engagement.
Bistro.sk demonstrated steady download numbers, starting at 1.7K in early July, with an increase to 2.6K by early September, before stabilizing around 1.9K towards the end of the quarter.
DoorDash - Food Delivery showed a notable rise in downloads in mid-July, reaching 2.5K, but experienced a decline to just 36 by the end of September. Active user engagement mirrored this trend, starting at 1.4K, peaking at 4.1K in late July, and gradually decreasing to 2.8K by the end of the quarter.
