In the third quarter of 2024, the gacha gaming landscape in Portugal showcased diverse performance trends across the top five titles. According to Sensor Tower data, these games exhibited distinct patterns in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Last War:Survival from FUNFLY PTE. LTD. experienced a dynamic quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $35K in late July, showing a general upward trajectory throughout the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 4.3K to 6.5K. Meanwhile, active users increased steadily, reaching approximately 25.3K by the end of September.
Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. saw a noticeable peak in revenue in early September, hitting $31.7K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, starting at 7.6K and ending at 5.1K. The game maintained a healthy active user base, peaking at about 31.7K towards the end of the quarter.
DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., had a notable spike in revenue in early August, reaching $23.9K. Weekly downloads, however, remained modest, peaking at 874 downloads in mid-September. Active user numbers hovered around 9K throughout the quarter.
Rise of Kingdoms from Lilith Games displayed consistent revenue, with a notable increase to $13.4K in late September. Downloads varied, with a high of 1.2K in late August. Active users showed a steady presence, peaking at 7.4K in late August.
Finally, Empires & Puzzles: Dragon Dawn by Small Giant Games saw a gradual decline in revenue, ending the quarter at $7.3K. Downloads were on the lower end, peaking at 309 in mid-July. Active users remained stable, with a slight dip towards the end of September, closing at 3.7K.
