In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top insurance applications on a unified platform in Germany displayed notable trends, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.
The Meine AOK app saw a steady rise in downloads, peaking at approximately 52.6K in the first week of September. Weekly active users also increased from 196.8K at the beginning of July to 229.9K by the end of September.
For the TK-App, downloads showed a gradual upward trend, reaching 28.1K in the last week of September. The app maintained a stable user base, with weekly active users growing from 181.6K at the start of the quarter to 200.8K by its conclusion.
The BARMER-App experienced a fluctuating download pattern, with a notable peak of 17.2K in mid-August. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 160K mark throughout the quarter.
Meine Allianz saw a consistent increase in downloads, achieving a peak of 14.4K in the final week of September. Active users showed slight growth, from 53.2K in early July to 54.2K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, the Allianz Gesundheits-App witnessed a significant surge in downloads, especially in early September, where it reached 21.2K. The app's weekly active users increased from 73.9K at the beginning of July to 78.6K by the end of September.
