In the third quarter of 2024, the top insurance apps in Ireland showcased varied performance in terms of downloads, as revealed by Sensor Tower's data. This analysis provides a snapshot of the download trends for these leading apps on a unified platform, offering insights into their market engagement.
Vhi, published by Vhi Healthcare Designated Activity Company, experienced a consistent pattern in downloads throughout Q3. The app started the quarter with approximately 2.3K downloads, maintaining this level with slight fluctuations, and ended September with a similar figure of around 2.3K downloads.
The Laya App from Laya Healthcare saw a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Beginning with about 1.2K downloads in early July, the app witnessed a steady rise, closing the quarter at approximately 1.2K downloads as well.
Irish Life Health Members, published by Irish Life, displayed a dynamic download trend. Starting at around 800 downloads, the app saw significant fluctuations, peaking at about 1.1K downloads in mid-August before stabilizing to end the quarter with approximately 880 downloads.
DeCare by Decare Dental Insurance experienced a modest download volume throughout the quarter. Starting with just under 300 downloads, the app saw a brief peak of around 350 downloads in late August, closing September with approximately 300 downloads.
Lastly, MyAllianz MY, from Allianz Malaysia Berhad, maintained a steady download rate. The app began with about 220 downloads, saw an increase to around 370 downloads by the end of September, reflecting a positive growth trend.
