In the third quarter of 2024, the top MMORPG applications on a unified platform in South America showed diverse trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the key performance metrics for these leading apps.
The Legend of Neverland from Ark Games maintained a consistent performance with its weekly revenue ranging between $16K and peaking at $31.6K towards the end of September. The app experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at 37K in July and reaching a peak of 41.8K mid-September. Active user numbers showcased resilience, with numbers hovering around 93K to over 100K throughout the quarter.
Albion Online by Sandbox Interactive GmbH saw stable revenue figures, starting at $13.4K in early July and ending at $15K. The app's downloads oscillated, beginning at 28K and dropping to 19K by the end of September. Active user engagement remained relatively steady, with a notable decrease from 51K in July to around 37K towards the quarter's close.
Ragnarok Origin: ROO from Gravity Game Vision Limited exhibited dynamic revenue patterns, with a high of $76.9K in mid-July and a gradual decline to $29.8K by the end of September. Download numbers were variable, starting at 23.9K and decreasing significantly to 5.4K. Despite this, active users were strong, with numbers fluctuating between 222K and 191K.
Flame of Valhalla Global by Leniu Games, launched in late July, saw its weekly revenue grow from $3.9K to $11.5K by the end of the quarter. Downloads started high at 63.1K, later stabilizing around 17K. Active users demonstrated a sharp increase from 48K to over 55K by the end of September, indicating strong user retention.
MU: Dark Epoch from BUILDING-BLOCKS NETWORK TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, released in August, experienced a surge in weekly revenue from $2.7K to $35.5K by early September, before settling at $22.5K. Downloads were robust, peaking at 38.5K in early September, while active users saw a steady climb from 13.8K to 47.3K by the quarter's end.
