During the third quarter of 2024, Estonia's top music and audio applications on the unified platform demonstrated diverse performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how the top five apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and revenue.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, peaking at roughly $3.8K in mid-August. The app's weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, maintaining an average of around 950 to 1.1K throughout the quarter.
Music Player & MP3 - DDMusic experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 478 during the week of September 9. However, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.
JBL Headphones observed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 592 in the week of September 2. Like DDMusic, JBL Headphones did not report any revenue during the quarter.
Radioplayer showed a notable spike in downloads in late July, reaching 972, before experiencing a gradual decline to 164 by the end of September. The app did not record any revenue during this time.
Shazam: Find Music & Concerts maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 600 to 700 weekly downloads. Despite the stable download figures, its weekly revenue remained minimal, fluctuating between $1 and $2.
