In the third quarter of 2024, Lebanon's navigation and maps app market saw varied performance across the top five apps on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides key insights into these trends.
Google Maps Go maintained a consistent number of weekly downloads, starting at around 3.4K in early July and peaking at 6.1K in late September. The app's weekly active users hovered around 220K, showing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.
Google Earth experienced a gradual increase in weekly downloads, with notable peaks in late August and September, reaching approximately 3K. Its active users mirrored this trend, starting at 8.2K and rising to over 11K by the end of September.
The Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass app saw a significant spike in downloads towards the end of the quarter, with a notable peak of 4.8K in late September. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing sharply to 7.4K in the same period.
Camera Location: Geotag Photos had a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 4.5K in early July and stabilizing at around 1.2K by the end of September. Active user numbers also varied, reaching a high of 2.9K in late September.
Live Earth Map & GPS Map witnessed a decline in downloads over the quarter, starting at 1.6K and dropping to around 450 by late September. Active users initially held steady at over 3K but gradually decreased to approximately 2.7K at the quarter's close.
