In the third quarter of 2024, the top news and magazines apps in Italy showed varied performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and active users. As reported by Sensor Tower, here are the notable trends for each app on the unified platform.
Corriere della Sera from RCS MediaGroup S.p.A. exhibited a fluctuation in its weekly revenue, with notable peaks around $144K in early August. Its downloads started at 7K in early July and saw a decline, hitting a low of 3.8K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, peaking at 137K in early September before settling at around 117K by quarter's end.
la Repubblica - news online by Gedi Digital srl maintained a consistent revenue stream, reaching approximately $44K in multiple weeks. Downloads were modest, starting at 1.4K and fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 9.5K, showing minimal variation.
Il Fatto Quotidiano from SEIF SpA saw weekly revenue oscillating, with a significant upsurge to over $10K at the end of September. Downloads remained below 1K, with minor fluctuations, peaking at 823 in early July.
Il Sole 24 ORE demonstrated steady growth in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $32K by the end of September. Downloads varied slightly, peaking at 1.2K in early September. Active users showed stability, averaging around 13.5K throughout the quarter.
Il Gazzettino by Ced Digital & Servizi experienced a decline in revenue from $12K in early July to about $9.6K by the end of September. Downloads also decreased, starting at 346 and dropping to 244 by the quarter's end.
