Top 5 News Apps Performance on Unified Platform in Brazil Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the top 5 news applications in Brazil showed varying performance patterns in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

X from X Corp. saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $33K in early August. However, there was a noticeable decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to around $12.9K. Weekly downloads experienced fluctuations, with a notable spike to 241K in late August. Active users started strong at over 12M but saw a significant reduction, finishing the quarter at about 5.4M.

Reddit maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, hovering around $400 to $700. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 53K in late September. Active users consistently grew, ending at roughly 2.2M.

Google News did not generate any revenue during the quarter but had a steady decline in downloads from 6.5K to just over 3K. Despite this, active users remained robust, peaking at around 2.3M by the end of September.

O Trabalhador saw a significant rise in downloads throughout the quarter, from an initial 7.5K to nearly 70K. The number of active users also increased steadily, finishing at about 37K.

Lei Seca Rj Resumo had a modest performance in downloads, ranging from 1.4K in early July to just over 1K by the end of September.
