In the third quarter of 2024, the personal finance budgeting and planning apps market in Slovenia showed diverse performance trends, as indicated by Sensor Tower data. This analysis highlights the top five applications: YNAB, Toshl Finance - budget manager, Splitwise, Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker, and Mobills: Budget Planner.
YNAB saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at around $118 in late July and experiencing a slight decline towards the end of September, ending at approximately $83. Downloads for YNAB varied, with a notable increase in early September reaching 15K, while active users peaked at 21K in the final week.
Toshl Finance - budget manager displayed a more consistent revenue pattern, achieving a high of $136 in early September before settling at $85 by the end of the quarter. Downloads were relatively stable, mostly fluctuating between 5K and 7K per week, with a brief drop in mid-September. Active users initially increased from 28K to 39K but saw a decrease to 19K towards the end.
Splitwise maintained a steady revenue flow with peaks of $105 in mid-August and $101 in early September, ending at $57 in late September. The download trend was robust, with numbers starting at 708K and slightly declining to 513K by the end of September. Active users peaked in mid-September at 3.6K before decreasing to 3.2K.
Wallet: Budget Expense Tracker experienced a gradual increase in revenue, culminating at $90 by the quarter's end. Downloads showed a steady rise, reaching 49K in late September. The app's active users saw a consistent upward trend, starting at 97K and reaching 141K by the end of September.
Lastly, Mobills: Budget Planner had a relatively stable revenue trend, with slight fluctuations, ending at $38 in the last week of September. However, there were no recorded downloads or active user data for this period.
