In the third quarter of 2024, the top personal finance budgeting and planning applications in Brazil showcased diverse trends in their performance metrics. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, provides insights into the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users of these apps on a unified platform.
SuperSim, developed by SuperSim LTDA, maintained a steady presence in the Brazilian market. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 18.7K and 26K, peaking at 25.9K in early September. Meanwhile, active users increased consistently from 139K at the start of the quarter to about 179K by the end.
Toro Investimentos' Mobills: Budget Planner experienced varied performance. Weekly revenue reached its highest at $34.9K in early September, while downloads ranged from 16K to 25K. Active users, however, showed a slight decline, starting from 115K and ending the quarter at approximately 112K.
Mozper: conta, cartão e pix saw a decline in downloads, decreasing from over 21K in July to around 9.4K by the end of September. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, finishing the quarter with nearly 78K.
nextJoy, from banco next, had a slight decrease in downloads over the quarter, from 15K to about 11.6K. Active users also saw a minor decline, moving from 128K to roughly 122K by September's end.
Lastly, Money Tracker-Expense & Budget by Horoscope365 demonstrated a consistent pattern in downloads, peaking at 14K in late July. Revenue remained modest, with a peak of $410 in the same period. Active users increased from 57K to over 72K by the quarter's conclusion.
