In the third quarter of 2024, the top Pokémon collector games on a unified platform in New Zealand displayed distinct trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Pokémon TCG Pocket experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, which rose from approximately $33.7K to $103.3K by the end of September. Its downloads mirrored this upward trend, growing from about 22.5K to 37.5K in the same period.
Pokémon GO saw fluctuating weekly revenue, starting at around $20.7K and peaking at $62.3K in early July, before stabilizing around $34.1K by the end of the quarter. The app's downloads showed modest variability, ending September at roughly 1.7K, while active users remained steady, hovering around 62.8K.
Mini Monsters: Card Collector maintained a low revenue, with a slight increase from $171 to $242 over the quarter. Downloads saw a similar trend, reaching 888 by the end of September, and active users rose from 4.5K to 5.2K during this period.
Pokémon TCG Live showed no revenue throughout the quarter, but downloads exhibited significant growth, especially in late September, rising from 190 to 1.6K. Active users also increased from 1.7K to 3.3K.
Lastly, Pokémon UNITE had a stable revenue pattern, peaking at $793 in late July before stabilizing around $528. Downloads showed an upward trajectory towards the quarter's end, reaching 576, and active users increased from 9.3K to 10.4K.
