State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the third quarter of 2024, puzzle games on a unified platform in Russia showcased a variety of trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into the performance of these top five games.
SCHOOLBOY RUNAWAY - STEALTH from Linked Squad, released in June 2024, had a strong start with downloads peaking at over 1M in early July. However, downloads steadily declined over the quarter, ending at around 200K by the end of September. Weekly active users mirrored this downward trend, starting at approximately 2.8M and decreasing to about 1.3M.
For METEL HORROR ESCAPE, also from Linked Squad, downloads were consistent initially, with a peak of around 158K in mid-July. By the end of September, downloads had decreased to roughly 60K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at nearly 287K and then reducing to around 171K.
Block Blast! by Hungry Studio saw a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 123K by late September. Despite this, weekly active users decreased from about 712K in early July to around 562K at the end of September.
Screw Puzzle: Wood Nut & Bolt™ from FALCON GAMES showed a gradual decline in downloads from 191K at the beginning of the quarter to about 72K by the end. Revenue also experienced minor fluctuations, peaking at $1.2K in late July. Weekly active users, however, remained relatively stable, hovering around the 580K mark towards the end of the quarter.
Finally, 5 nights at Timokha's experienced a drop in downloads from 184K in early July to about 58K by the end of September. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking again at approximately 264K in early August, before settling at around 241K by the end of the period.
