In the third quarter of 2024, the top 5 PVP games in the United States showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.
MONOPOLY GO! by Scopely, Inc. experienced fluctuating revenue, starting at approximately $23M in early July, peaking at $29.3M in the second week, and ending the quarter around $18.2M. Downloads began at 430K, gradually declining to 274K towards the end of September. Similarly, weekly active users saw a decrease from 1.23M to 974K over the quarter.
Roblox from Roblox Corporation maintained a robust presence with revenue ranging from $11.4M to $15.1M per week. Downloads showed a decline from 605K to 545K, while weekly active users began at 35.4M, dropping to 31.2M by the end of the quarter.
Whiteout Survival from Century Games Pte. Ltd. saw revenue peaking at $7M in early September, with consistent performance around $5M to $5.5M for most of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 268K and closing at 221K. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased from 1.53M to 1.72M, indicating a growing user base.
Pokémon GO by Niantic, Inc. started the quarter with a revenue spike of $12.3M in the second week of July, followed by a gradual decline, ending at $4.96M. Downloads decreased from 135K to 91K, while weekly active users fluctuated, closing the quarter at 13.4M.
Lastly, Coin Master from Moon Active reported revenue ranging from $3.9M to $5.8M, with a slight increase towards the end of September. Downloads varied between 86K and 126K, while weekly active users showed a downward trend initially, before a late-quarter recovery, ending at 686K.
