In the third quarter of 2024, the top shopping apps in New Zealand exhibited varied performance, as shown by data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app.
Style DNA: AI Color Analysis from AI Style by DNA S.L. saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from about 917 in early July to 235 by the end of September. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at approximately $747 in early July and ending the quarter at around $328. Active users also decreased over the quarter, from 610 down to 179.
Sneakers Drops: Release+Raffle, developed by David Eritsyan, maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, hovering around 1K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly downloads were consistent, with a slight increase towards the end, reaching 72. Revenue showed more variability, with notable peaks of $215 and $203 in late July and mid-September, respectively.
Our Groceries Shopping List, published by OurGroceries, Inc., experienced a steady number of weekly downloads, averaging around 70. Revenue varied, with a notable increase to $172 in mid-August. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around the 750 mark throughout the quarter.
Think Dirty – Shop Clean by Think Dirty Inc. saw a significant spike in downloads in early September, reaching 761, which correlates with a surge in active users to 1.5K. Despite the fluctuations in downloads and active users, weekly revenue was generally stable, with a high point of $135 in late September.
Finally, Letsy: Try On Outfits with AI from Reface Europe UAB showed limited activity in terms of downloads, with only one recorded download in mid-September. Revenue remained low and consistent, peaking at $89 at the beginning of the quarter.
