During the third quarter of 2024, the simulator games sector in Algeria showcased a diverse performance across the top five applications on a unified platform. As reported by Sensor Tower, these games displayed varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.
Goat Simulator: Pocket Edition, published by Coffee Stain Publishing, experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, with a notable peak of approximately $125 in the last week of August. The app's downloads exhibited an initial surge, reaching over 600 in the week of July 22, followed by a decline and a subsequent recovery towards the end of September. Active user numbers mirrored this pattern, hitting a high of around 885 in late July before tapering off and then rising again in late September.
The Goat Simulator 2018 Bundle showed a significant revenue jump to $173 in the last week of August, with no notable downloads or active user data available.
My Superstore Simulator from Game District LLC saw impressive growth in downloads, beginning with 6.8K in mid-July and skyrocketing to over 219K by mid-August. This growth was accompanied by an increase in active users, which peaked at roughly 444K in late August. The game's revenue also saw a brief peak of $135 during the same period.
Goat Simulator GoatZ had a modest performance with revenue reaching $146 in late August, while downloads remained low throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Supermarket Store Game 3D by Emir Tarek displayed a revenue peak of $201 in the second week of July. The game experienced a wave of downloads, peaking at 3.3K in mid-August, and active users increased to about 7K during the same timeframe before gradually declining towards the quarter's end.
