During the third quarter of 2024, the social app landscape in Turkey exhibited notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics, based on data from Sensor Tower.
TikTok observed a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $382K in the first week of August before settling at around $338K by the end of September. Weekly downloads peaked mid-July at 324K and closed the quarter at about 281K. The app's active user base experienced a slight decline from 40.6M at the beginning of July to 38.8M at the end of September.
LivU - Live Video Chat maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at nearly $157K in the last week of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 12K in early July and ending at 11K in late September. Active users showed a gradual decline from 121K to 119K over the quarter.
Tango- Live Stream, Video Chat experienced a rise in revenue towards the end of the quarter, reaching $171K in the last week. Downloads saw a decrease from 52K in early July to 52K by the end of September. Active users, however, increased from 631K to 673K during the same period.
SUGO:Voice Live Chat Party showed a consistent upward trend in revenue, finishing the quarter at approximately $138K. Downloads started at 47K and decreased to 37K. The app's active user numbers grew from 254K to 279K, indicating a positive engagement trend.
Chamet - Live Video Chat saw its revenue reach a peak of $66K in early August, closing at $53K by the end of September. Downloads increased from 8K to 14K over the quarter. Active users rose from 110K to 113K, demonstrating stable user engagement.
