During the third quarter of 2024, the superhero games sector in Turkey demonstrated varied performance across the top five applications on a unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower offers insights into the downloads, revenue, and active users of these popular games, reflecting their market dynamics.
Spider Fighter 3: Action Game from Starplay DMCC showed a consistent rise in downloads, peaking at 79K in the week of August 19. Revenue exhibited a gradual increase, reaching around $366 in late August. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, culminating at approximately 170K by the end of September.
Rope Hero: Vice Town, developed by Naxeex Action & RPG Games, maintained steady download numbers, with a noticeable spike to 41K in early September. Revenue figures fluctuated, with a high of $363 in mid-September. The game's weekly active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 340K throughout the quarter.
The newly released The Superhero League 2 by Lion Studios quickly captured attention, with downloads soaring to 241K in its second week. Revenue was modest, peaking at $19 towards the end of September. Active users also saw a significant increase, reaching over 223K in the third week post-launch.
Spider Fighting: Hero Game by Zego Studio experienced a decline in downloads from 37K in early July to around 13K by the end of September. Revenue remained low throughout the quarter, with minor fluctuations. Meanwhile, active users showed a slight recovery towards the end of the quarter, finishing at approximately 229K.
Finally, The Superhero League, also from Lion Studios, faced a declining trend in downloads, ending the quarter with just under 3K. Revenue saw a gradual decrease as well, with the lowest point recorded at $7 in the final week of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing steadily to about 53K by quarter’s end.
