During the third quarter of 2024, the tabletop board games category on a unified platform in France witnessed varied performance among its top five apps. Data from Sensor Tower highlights key trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these popular games.
Domino Dreams™ from SuperPlay showed a notable increase in revenue, starting the quarter at approximately $54.3K and peaking at $72.8K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 19.7K in late September, while weekly active users rose consistently, reaching 58.2K in the same period.
Chess - Play & Learn by Chess.com experienced a steady climb in revenue, beginning at $34.5K and closing the quarter at $46.9K. Downloads followed a positive trajectory, with a high of 18.3K in the final week. The app maintained strong weekly active users, increasing from 446.1K to 546.3K throughout the quarter.
Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino from Yalla Technology FZ-LLC had fluctuating revenue, ending at $20.3K. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 3.7K in July, and weekly active users varied, peaking at 10.6K in the same month.
Backgammon - Lord of the Board by Beach Bum Ltd saw a decline in revenue, closing at $9.4K at the end of September. Downloads remained modest, reaching 379 in the final week. Weekly active users showed slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with 7.4K.
Lastly, Yahtzee® with Buddies Dice from Scopely, Inc. experienced a gradual increase in revenue, reaching $8.7K. Downloads peaked at 1.8K in mid-August, while weekly active users decreased slightly, ending the quarter at 14.3K.
