In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top food delivery apps on Android in Latin America showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the metrics for each app.
iFood comida e mercado em casa saw a stable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 211K in early October and reaching over 232K by the end of December. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users growing slightly from 36.3M to 37.7M over the quarter.
PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at around 160K and peaking at 182K in the last week of December. Active users initially increased to approximately 9.1M but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, settling around 8.1M.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery had a consistent rise in downloads, starting at 116K and peaking at 135K by the end of the year. Meanwhile, its active user base slightly decreased from about 9M to 8.3M.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery maintained stable download numbers, with a slight increase towards December, reaching 118K. Active users fluctuated, with a notable peak of 4.5M in mid-October before ending the year at 4.2M.
Zé Delivery de Bebidas showed a significant surge in downloads in December, peaking at 151K. The app's active users grew from 2.5M to over 3.9M, particularly rising sharply towards the end of the quarter.
