In the fourth quarter of 2024, the insurance app market in Spain saw varied performance among the top applications on the Android platform. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the trends in downloads and active users for these apps.
MAPFRE Seguros had a stable presence with weekly downloads fluctuating around 10K, peaking at approximately 11.5K in mid-October. The app's active users experienced a slight decline early in the quarter, starting at around 147K, but recovered to finish strong at 141.5K by the end of December.
Adeslas Salud y Bienestar maintained a consistent download rate, with a notable spike to nearly 15K in the last week of December. Active users increased significantly mid-quarter, reaching a high of 154.7K in early December before settling at 122.8K by the end of the year.
Mi Sanitas saw a steady increase in downloads, culminating in a peak of 14.2K in the final week of December. Active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, with a notable dip in late December to 135.8K, before rising again to 175.3K.
Línea Directa experienced steady download numbers, averaging around 4K weekly, with a peak of 5.1K in late November. The app’s active users showed a downward trend, starting at 84.2K and dropping to 65.1K by the end of December.
Finally, E-cliente Occident exhibited stable download patterns, with numbers hovering around 3-4K weekly. The app's performance reflects a consistent user interest throughout the quarter.
